The summer program offers students the opportunity to engage in numerous station events and activities—in addition, they assist with event planning, marketing, education and other career-oriented activities.
The WQPT PBS Ambassadors program offers college (and graduating high school) students hands-on experience in the fields of event planning, education, marketing, public affairs, and much more. Students gain valuable real-world experience while representing one of America's most trusted brands—PBS.
Ambassadors bring the best PBS KIDS resources to children throughout the region with fun, engaging and educational workshops, school visits, library activities and special events. These resources provide support for parents, teachers and caregivers who touch the lives of children and strengthen the community's future.
